Grow Solar is a solar group-buying and education program that makes going solar easier. Offered by the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, 1000 Friends of Iowa and the Nature Conservancy in Iowa, with community support from Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and the East Central Iowa Council of Governments, property owners in the region can pool their buying power to secure significant discounts that make installing solar more affordable.

This program is a continuation of previous successful Grow Solar efforts in Linn and Johnson counties, with an expanded focus. This year, residents of Benson, Iowa, Jones and Washington counties are also invited to participate
